Ongoing List of Anime/Manga I’ve Watched/Read

AKA stuff I can have a decent conversation about lol. Unless otherwise noted, most of these are going to be manga. A couple manwha and webtoons for in there for fun too.

I like romance, mystery, and feel-good stories with a decent plot and happy endings. Apparently I go through bouts of reading yaoi like a starved man every once in a while – things you learn when you keep a list like this over the course of several years – and some titles are smutty.

Edit 2021/22/8 = Redid favorites. Gotten a little older and my tastes have changed since I started this list back in 2015ish.

(!!!*) = I have reread it multiple times / I would likely buy physical copies if it came out in English and I had money / It has transcended beyond our mortal plane of existence / I really like it and saying I’d buy the series is saying something because I’m cheap
(!)? = I must have liked it when I read it but now I can’t remember it. Likely it was good but not enough for me to recall based on title or brief description alone.

Dealing with auditory processing disorder

LAWFUL: take the parts you heard and turn it into a clarifying question, e. g. "you saw your cousin where?" or "she's writing a what?"

NEUTRAL: "what did you say?"

CHAOTIC: take a wild stab at what the person said, e. g. "you want to baptize a mackerel?"
